I'm just stating my opinion here.

And ok, I may have been out of line to say that Anet should so something about people like you. Because hey, you bought the game right? So you're entitled to do anything you want with it. You play to win, no matter what it takes. That is how you enjoy your game, and so be it.

I, for one, would like to see a more nurturing kind community. Where we compete in good nature, not with underhanded tricks. I'd like to see people helping strangers. I know this is near impossible, but I've seen it happen before. Again, this is just what I would like to see in the game. I know you believe otherwise.

Why do you want this thread to die? I think its a very interesting debate over what's right and what's wrong and who cares or not. Even if it turns into an ideological debate, isn't that what this message board is for? So we can type out nice long messages to eachother in an attempt to share our opinions with others.

Mostly because the people still posting here are newcomers to the thread, the peak of the discussion was several pages ago and we're just going over old territory. But it doesn't look like it will happen anytime soon, oh well.

Mmm, no you don't. You won't know until half your team alt+f4s and we finish you off easily. Then, when I'm sitting on your face and telling you how badly you were just schooled, then you will know.

However it is done, this should just not be allowed at all. The ALT-F4 announcement comes when in the Tombs. So here is the scenario. We get past the fight-the-monsters part, and are now waiting for the team rounds to begin. On local chat someone says "hit ALT-F4 to view team stats" or some other junk like that. We lost a few players that way even when we warned them not to do it and that ALT-F4 quits Guildwars because it is a Windows command not a GW command.

And the people who do this announcement....well I won't post here my feelings and thoughts on them.

You have the wrong group then. I don't want anyone who doesn't know what alt+f4 is in my group any ways, and you shouldn't either.

Can we let this post die? After weeks of being up on the board...I'm pretty sure people get the idea that Alt F4 quits programs(on Dell computers, dunno what Gateways are, and Macs confuse me...some progs are Apple+W, some Apple+Q...odd computers those things are)

Anyways...alt+f4 quits programs...people get the picture...let this die already, it deprives other good ideas of their chance to breath new air into the Guild Wars community.

awwww but ppl's "alt f4" stories are so hilarious xD Im gonna try this in halls too now. I've accidentally done it too once when i was looking for an npc while changing to my fourth weapon set....
But then that was jus carelessness, people just need to be a bit more careful.
